The Lucky Thirteen
On the 18th of June 2009 we were given THIRTEEN German Shepherds to re-home from a breeder who was evicted from his home. The dogs were aged between 4 and 12. Despite being kept in appaulling conditions the dogs had lovely temperaments and were in reasonably good health.
We will posted updated pictures of the dogs on this page as we receive them.

Mikka found her forever home..
Here is Mikka, happy and settled enjoying a hide bone.
Vets told us Mikka had CDRM but it turns out she actually has hip dysplacia. Her new owner still loves her to bits and is doing everything she can to strengthen her muscles. Mikka looks a bit sorry for herself in the pool but I'm sure she'll soon grow to love it!
I'm sure many GSD owners recognise this pose!!
Mikka with her new friends. This lovely girl had a really bad start to life but her new home is making up for that.
Please help us care for other dogs like these. German Shepherd Rescue Scotland has a 'No Kill' policy.

PLEASE HELP PAY FOR LUCY'S CARE Lucy was in kennels then in foster care. A visit to the vet showed that Lucy has severe hip dysplasia. Her foster carers have decided to keep her and the rescue is going to help cover her vet fees, she will need medication for the rest of her life.
Could you help with Lucy's vet fees? If you can help please click the donate button below. Every penny counts and every penny is gratefully appreciated.
Training Your Best Friend We have been contacted by David Dee, author of a training manual that includes some of the secrets of "dog whispering" (or "dog listening" as some people call it). We believe this method of training can make a substantial contribution to the control of a dog especially where owners are having difficulties.
David is a UK based trainer. His manual costs $19 and has a 60 day money back guarantee. The rescue receives a donation for every copy sold via our website.
