Built of Ham stone and Cob in the 1700's as part of the old village Cider house, our character cottage sleeps up to 6 (plus baby) with a discount for two people only. It is ideally situated for you and your dog to explore all of Dorset's World Heritage Jurassic Coast - a gloriously scenic region of outstanding natural beauty.

Our really dog friendly holiday cottage is in the quiet heart of a conservation area, the old village of Bradpole, near Bridport. The village store is close by, as are footpaths and river walks. Just a couple or so miles from unspoiled, dog friendly, National Trust beaches and the Dorset coast path, it is equidistant from the medieval village of Abbotsbury and Georgian Lyme Regis.

The cottage has one large (king size bed), one smaller double and one twin bedroom. The recently fitted bathroom is fully tiled and has an over bath electric shower. There is a fully fitted oak dining kitchen with electric oven, halogen hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The sitting room, with inglenook and wood burner, television, DVD, stereo, Wi Fi and telephone is cosy and welcoming in winter and cool and refreshing in summer. The cottage has full gas fired central heating, a fully enclosed alfresco dining and sitting out area and parking. All bed linen, gas and electricity is included and logs are easily available locally. Clematis Cottage gives guests a welcome taste of life in a friendly Dorset village.

If you can offer a warm, loving foster home please get in touch.

German Shepherds don't do well in kennels, we would love to have warm foster homes to offer instead of cold concrete kennels. ALL food and expenses will be covered by the rescue.
