The Story of Poor Hobo

Hobo

How could anyone let this happen?

Hobo

Staff at the PDSA in Northampton have called this poor boy Hobo. He was found by a member of the public and taken to the centre. He is now receiving treatment and is eating and drinking well but will have to stay in hospital for at least a month. Despite his ordeal he has a lovely nature and has won the hearts of everyone who sees him.

What a difference a week makes!

Hobo

Hobo has been receiving treatment for a week now. A spokeswoman said: "He is doing really well. He is eating well and has put on 3.5kg since he arrived.

"His skin is no longer burnt from the mange and his fur is looking much better."

The RSPCA are asking anyone with information on Hobo came to be in this state to please come foward.

Update 12/08/08

Hobo has now gained 6kg and a little of his fur has started to grow back on his head. His legs are getting stronger and he is enjoying his little walks.

Update 08/10/08

Look at this handsome boy now! Hardly recognisable, but those lovely big ears are a real give-away!

Hobo has thrived on the love and attention he has received since he was rescued. He is happy and living with his new best friend, a 14 year old King Charles Spaniel. She decided to be a little camera shy!
