German Shepherd Rescue Scotland - Thistle Care Scheme

What if the worst happened?
Do you have someone who will look after your dog(s)?

German Shepherd Rescue Scotland's Thistle Care Scheme has been set up to give German Shepherd owners peace of mind. We promise that if anything happens to you, we will take your German Shepherd into our care and find your dog(s) a new forever home.

When we receive your completed registration form we will send you a wallet-sized card, a postcard and a fridge magnet to help you notify people of your wishes for your German Shepherd should anything happen to you.

We also strongly recommend that you mention the care of your dog in your Will. That way, there can be no confusion about your wishes. We suggest that you include the following phrase in your Will: "It is my wish that German Shepherd Rescue Scotland care for and re-home any German Shepherd that I may own at the time of my death".

There is no charge for this service but a donation to cover administration costs would be appreciated.
