Milo is a handsome and friendly 5-year-old black and tan short-coated
boy. He is happy to welcome visitors to his home and gets on well with
everyone. Milo has always lived with children, and is great with them
but, as ever, we will only rehome with kids 10 and above. Milo is
currently entire and new owners would need to commit to getting him
neutered once he is fully settled in his new home._
_Milo is fully house-trained and he can be left for short periods
without any issues. He travels well in the car and loves going on
adventures, he likes to paddle but does not swim. He is lively and
playful but will settle when the game is over. Milo knows basic commands
and is generally a well-behaved dog. He hates all cats._
_Milo had some unfortunate experiences as a young dog which have left
him fearful of adult dogs he sees when out and he sometimes reacts
vocally. He is walked in a figure-of-8 slip lead so his owner can keep
control and move him away, he is never off lead where he might meet
strange dogs. Milo is OK with family members dogs that he knows._
_Milo will bark when someone approaches the house but not excessively.
He is not possessive over food or toys and takes treats very politely.
Milo is tolerant of being bathed._
_Milo is a much-loved pet who is being reluctantly rehomed because a
change in family circumstances means his owner feels he is not getting
the amount of attention and exercise he needs to live his best life.
