Koda A

Koda is a lean 3-year-old with a short mostly dark coat with tan markings. He is a slightly anxious boy who will growl to express his discomfort but has never shown any aggression.

Koda is house-trained, he is not possessive about food or toys, and takes treats very politely.  He has been around children (as ever only children 10+ in new home) all his life and knows to be gentle.

Since chewing a door frame as a pup Koda has been crated when left, he will rip up any bedding or toys left in the crate, so needs someone around most of the time.  Koda loves going in the car and settles well on longer journeys.

Koda will bark when people approach the house but not excessively. He is wary of strangers both visiting the house, and outside if they come up close, so new owners would need to work with him to build his  confidence.

Koda is a bright lad who knows his basic commands and will really benefitfrom further training, especially recall. Off lead, in an enclosed area, he loves to play with other big dogs. He is nervous of smaller dogs, or those that bark at him.

Koda has suspected food allergies but is doing well since being fed a single protein raw diet. He is fearful of the vet so once settled in a new home  he would benefit from a few visits to the surgery to build confidence before he needs to visit for any vaccinations or treatment. He will require to be neutered in due course.

Koda is being rehomed as his family do not have the time to provide him with the additional training and stimulation that he needs.
