Izzie is a slim girl with a short glossy black coat and a tiny bit of
dark tan on her toes, who was born in September 2022. She is slightly
shy but happy to make friends over a treat or two. She has never lived
with children but is used to them visiting, although she can get
over-excited and jump up.
Izzie has been to training classes and knows all her basic commands
although she does pull on the lead at the start of a walk. She is used
to being off lead, does not stray far and recalls well.
Izzie has always lived with another dog and plays well with other large
dogs she meets outside. She does not like small dogs, especially if they
growl or bark at her, and has got into a couple of troublesome scraps so
is now always kept away from them.
Izzie is house-trained, she is not possessive about food or toys. She
is crate-trained and happy to be left in there with a licky mat for
short periods while no-one is home. She likes going in the car and
travels well.
Izzie is a very well-loved pet who has been with her current owner
since she was 8 weeks old, but she is struggling to cope with her
lead-pulling and reaction to small dogs and now thinks it would be in
Izzie's best interests to find a new home. New owners will need the
time and experience to continue her training as she matures and commit
to having her spayed in a year or so once she is fully grown.
